Specialzied S-Works Turbo Tire

The S-Works Turbo tire sets the standard for a fast and durable performance tube type race tire. Our all new Gripton T2 center compound is the fastest, most efficient compound we have ever developed. T2 is placed in the center of our dual compound for speed and longevity on the straights with T5 compound on the shoulders for incredible grip through the corners.

We’ve improved the tire’s puncture protection by 8% with all new hybrid-Kevlar Blackbelt breaker under the tread. Combined with our light and supple casing you’ve not only got improved puncture protection but lighter weight and more flexibility for an incredibly supple and confidence inspiring ride. It all adds up to a S-Works Turbo tube type tire that 4 watts faster per set than the previous S-Works Turbo and that weighs just 200 grams for a 24mm. This is S-Works level speed with a tube.

When tubeless performance on race day is mandatory but durability for rough roads all season is just as important the S-Works 2BR delivers – from cobbled classics to your daily lunch ride. Our all-new Gripton T2 compound is the fastest, most efficient compound we’ve ever created. We’ve combined this with the legendary grip of our Gripton T5 compound on the shoulders to the Turbo 2BR more grip, speed, and durability than ever before – six watts faster vs the previous 2BR and just 260 grams for a 26mm tire.

As a tubeless tire, the new Turbo 2BR can self-seal punctures when used with RapidAir sealant, that is if a puncture can ever pierce the Blackbelt protection under the tread which delivers 8% more puncture protection than the previous tire. This new Blackbelt was created using hybrid-Kevlar protection under the tread. You’ve not only got improved puncture protection but lighter weight and more flexibility for a more supple ride.

The new S-Works Turbo 2BR is also compatible with both hooked and hookless rims for the flexibility to ride the wheels and pressure you want. Our new Zylon reinforced beads also exceed hookless burst pressure standards by 200% for ultimate peace of mind. The Turbo Pro is a competitive clincher that features many of the same technologies and features found in the S-Works version. After all, competitive riders need a fast, light, and tough tire, and the Turbo Pro is all three. With the legendary grip of our GRIPTON® T5 compound, you’ll be climbing, descending, and cornering with confidence and speed. The 60 TPI casing is light and reliable with BlackBelt puncture protection to avoid flats. Simple maintenance and installation with an inner tube offers a carefree road bike setup.
